The Nepali Congress is set to hold an open question-and-answer session on the issues included in its election commitment paper.
Providing detailed information about the commitment paper unveiled in Janakpur on Wednesday, party President Gagan Kumar Thapa said that he will participate in an open Q&A session.
The event, titled “Our Commitment - Your Questions,” will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Rastriya Sabha Griha in Kathmandu. During the event, Thapa will take questions related to the commitment paper from people both inside the country and abroad and respond to them.
Party spokesperson Devraj Chalise said that Thapa will present a summary of the commitment paper through a large LED screen during the event.
“The Nepali Congress will provide detailed information on Thursday in Kathmandu regarding its commitment paper unveiled on Wednesday from Janakpur, the capital of Madhes, and hold an open Q&A session on the issues mentioned in it,” Chalise said.
He added that arrangements have been made to allow people from around the world to ask questions live using technology, with the party president responding to them.
Participants present at the Rastriya Sabha Griha will also be able to ask questions, which Thapa will answer.
The Nepali Congress has stated through its manifesto that it aims to form a government under its leadership and has outlined its plans for the next five years.
