The Nepali Congress has donated Rs 10 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
The party provided the amount for victims of the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flood of August 26.
The Nepali Congress raised the funds through contributions from its leaders and workers and handed them over to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
According to the secretariat of Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle, the Nepali Congress presented a check for Rs 10 million to Minister Wagle on Monday for the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradip Paudel visited the Ministry of Finance and handed over the check to Minister Wagle on behalf of the party.
General Secretary Paudel was accompanied by Treasurer Umesh Shrestha, spokesperson Devraj Chalise, National Assembly parliamentary party leader Kamala Pant, Chief Whip Basana Thapa, and other party leaders.
