"We will keep two chairs empty between the lawmakers and make mask mandatory for lawmakers," Secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR) Gopal Nath Yogi told Setopati. "We will make arrangements of washing hands with soap before entering the parliament."
He added that sanitizer will also be kept on the table of lawmakers.
The government's policies and programs will be presented in the House session and then the budget. Joint meeting of the HoR and the National Assembly are conducted during that period. "Almost 900 chairs would be necessary to accommodate 300 lawmakers during the period. We are thinking about not issuing pass to others this time," Yogi revealed.
