CPN leader Bhim Rawal has expressed dissatisfaction with the Cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli.
Posting a series of tweets on Thursday starting with congratulations for the newly inducted ministers, standing committee member Rawal has listed his displeasure in four points and said the issues are serious and thought-provoking for the true and honest CPN leaders.
"Why was the president, kept in a dignified position by the Constitution, showed to be involved in party politics and selection of ministers?" he has asked.
He has also asked why those involved in obstructing Constitution promulgation and vehement opposition of the communist party have been appointed federal affairs and general administration, and law ministers in a way that has insulted the party rank and file that shed blood and sweat to make CPN stronger and victorious, and took a stance for the country.
Upendra Yadav has been appointed law minister and Hridayesh Tripathi federal affairs and general administration minister. Chairman of Socialist Party Nepal Yadav, and Madhes-based leader Tripathi, who contested the last general election on a CPN-UML ticket, had slammed the Constitution after its promulgation in 2015 and have yet to take ownership of the statute.
Hinting at Rameshwore Raya Yadav and Moti Lal Dugad, Rawal has asked the relevance of making someone who was active against the party in the past and became lawmaker only using financial prowess and capitalist politics a minister. He has also asked whether the spirit of proportional representation and justice been honored in the Cabinet reshuffle.
