Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli will return from Singapore on Friday, deputy parliamentary party leader of the ruling CPN Subas Chandra Nembang confirmed.
"He said he will return on Friday," Nembang stated citing a telephone conversation with Oli. "I asked him about his health. He said he is fine and getting better."
He revealed that Oli asked about the bill on transitional justice during the conversation. "I told him that we are holding discussion with the opposition. I also informed him that we are talking with the recommendation committee on the issue of appointments in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and the Commission for Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons," Nembang elaborated.
PM Oli also asked about other bills tabled in the parliament, according to Nembang.
PM Oli has been undergoing plasmapheresis at the National University Hospital in Singapore.
Plasmapheresis is a term used to refer to a broad range of procedures through which blood components are filtered outside the body. It is likely that the procedure has been done on PM Oli, who had a kidney transplant 12 years ago, to remove antibodies for immunosuppression.
PM Oli had left for Singapore on August 22 just 10 days after a nine-day stay at the hospital there.
