Prime Minister Balen Shah has begun discussions with the chiefs of all three security agencies.
According to the prime minister’s secretariat, the discussions are aimed at receiving detailed information and issuing necessary instructions on the situation following the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on August 26, as well as overall search and rescue operations, relief distribution, medical treatment, and related matters.
PM Shah held discussions with Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
Following his meeting with Chief of Army Staff Sigdel, PM Shah will also hold discussions with Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki and Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, Narayan Datta Paudel.
