Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation has underlined the need of warding off the risk of human-wildlife conflict.
During his address to election assembly held at Govindabasti of Madi Wednesday, he underlined the need of taking measures to prevent the wildlife in the Chitwan National Park from entering the human settlements. Pandey, who is the candidate for the federal election from the Chitwan- 3 from the democratic alliance, said, "Human-wildlife conflict has caused the impact on the wildlife conservation."
He pledged to end the risk of human-wildlife conflict if he got an opportunity to serve the people of the constituency as their representative in the center. On the occasion, he took the time to express his commitments to developing Madi into a touristic city.
"Madi is rich in natural resources and utilization of such property is a must," he said, stating that he had physical infrastructure development plan for Madi that includes blacktopping of dirt roads, embankment construction to the local Riu River and construction of a ring road in the city.
