Bidya Devi Bhandari takes oath as senior leader of UML

Former president Bidya Devi Bhandari has taken the oath as a senior leader of the CPN-UML.

The party recently decided to appoint her as a senior leader.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli administered the oath of office to Bhandari at a ceremony held at the party headquarters in Chyasal on Thursday.

Bhandari has returned to active UML politics after 11 years. She is a former vice-chairperson of the UML and served as Nepal’s president for two terms.
