Voting under the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress is set to be postponed again.
The central election committee had initially scheduled voting to begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday, but the committee has repeatedly pushed back the voting time.
Preparations are now underway to begin voting at 7 a.m. on Friday. The postponement is being attributed to technical reasons, including the printing of ballot papers.
The central election committee is preparing to formally announce the decision at a press conference.
A total of 7,255 general convention representatives will vote to elect the party’s new central working committee.
