National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina on Thursday has announced the formation of four committees.
The meeting of National Assembly on Thursday nominated the members for the four committees.
The main opposition Nepali Congress did not provide any names for the committees although the party was repeatedly urged to provide the names.
The four committees are Sustainable Development and Good Governance, Legislation Management, Delegative Management and Government Assurance and National Concerns and Coordination.
Indu Kadariya, Kamala Kumari Oli, Kabita Bogati, Kali Bahadur Malla, Khim Kumar BK, Chakra Prasad Snehi, Dinanath Sharma, Pramila Kumari, Bhairab Kumar Shrestha, Mahesh Kumar Mahara, Mukta Kumari Yadav, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, Dr Bimala Rai Poudyal and Sarita Prasain are the members of the Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee.
Similarly, Legislation Management Committee would have Anita Devkota, Udaya Sharma Poudel, Jitendra Narayan Dev, Thagendra Prakash Puri, Nanda Chapai, Parashuram Meghi Gurung, Badri Prasad Pandey, Mina Budha, Utol Tamang, Tamlakhan Chamar, Brishesh Chandra Lal, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Singha Bahadur Bishwokarma and Harichanran Shiwakoti as its members.
Agam Prasad Bantawa, Chandra Bahadur Khadka, Durga Prasad Upadhyay, Narpati Luwar, Nainkala Ojha, Balram Prasad Banskota, Radheshyam Ashikari, Ram Narayan Bidari, Bindadevi Ale Rana, Bina Pokharel, Shanti Kumari Adhikari, Sumanraj Pyakurel and Hariram Chaudhary have been inducted in the Committee on Delegated Legislation and Government Assurances.
Likewise, Komal Oli, Khimlal Bhattarai, Khemraj Nepali, Jeevan Budha, Taradevi Bhatta, Deepa Gurung, Dil Kumari Rawal, Dhan Kumari Khatiwada, Prakash Pantha, Ramesh Prasad Yadav, Raj Kumar Kunwar, Ram Chandra Rai, Ramprit Paswan and Surendra Pandey are the members of National Concern and Coordination Committee.
The NA will meet next at 11 am on August 6.
