Ncell, in collaboration with Uptrendly, has launched “League of Creators,” a nationwide contest aimed at discovering and empowering Nepal’s next generation of digital content creators.
The multi-phase competition, whose tagline is “Create. Compete. Conquer.,” offers aspiring creators a platform to showcase their talent under the theme “My Network, My Connectivity,” gain national recognition, and compete for rewards including a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs 1 million.
Selected participants will also receive personal content creation training from some of Nepal’s most prominent creators—Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Mr. Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana, and Ekata Tandukar, who will serve as mentors throughout the competition.
“This is more than just a contest; it’s a creative development journey that combines mentorship, hands-on workshops, real-world exposure, high-stakes challenges, and exciting rewards. Through this initiative, we aim to empower the next generation of Nepali digital content creators by providing them with a platform to learn, grow, and inspire change through impactful content. As part of Nepal’s digital ecosystem, we are committed to nurturing talent and driving transformation,” said Punam Singh, director of marketing communications and sustainability at Ncell.
Registrations for the competition began on May 30. According to Ncell, the competition is open to all Nepali content creators aged 16 and above, regardless of prior experience. Participants are required to submit a 30- to 90-second vertical video exploring personal or emotional interpretations of connectivity. The videos must be posted on both TikTok and Instagram, tagging @Ncell and using designated mentor hashtags, such as #TeamSanjog, along with #NcellLeagueOfCreators2025 in the caption. The deadline for submission is June 10.
Entry is free, and participants must be based in Nepal during the campaign.
Industry leaders from Ncell and the US Embassy will guide participating creators and judge their entries.
From the nationwide pool of submissions, the top 50 creators will be selected by the mentors for exclusive training. These creators will be grouped into five mentor-led teams and undergo workshops at Ncell ICON, participating in challenge rounds based on creative briefs and evaluated by an expert jury.
The competition’s grand finale will be held on June 28, where the winner will be crowned and top performers celebrated through a live entertainment program. The winner will get a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs 1 million, along with other benefits including training with Nepal’s top creators, nationwide exposure, and networking opportunities.
