RSP's Shishir Khanal elected from Kathmandu-6

Kathmandu, March 6

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Shishir Khanal has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6.

He won the election securing 27,719 votes.

His nearest rival, Krishna Baniya Chhetri of the Nepali Congress, received 6,647 votes.

CPN-UML candidate Aman Kumar Maskey received 4,373 votes.

Khanal was elected from the same constituency in the previous election too.
