International skiing competition to be held in Mustang

The international skiing competition is to be held in Muktinath area of Mustang late this year with a view to promoting the country’s mountain tourism. Information about this was shared at a press meet here Wednesday. The Himalayan Skiing Trek is coordinating the event. International skier Krishna Thapa of Nepal will facilitate the competition. Skiing training are being held in Muktinath, Gosaikundra and Dhaulagiri areas in the first week of January every year and this time over 60 youths including from Nepal attended such training, it is said.
