APF SSP arrested on charge of rape

An Armed Police Force (APF) SSP has been arrested on charge of rape.

SSP Rajendra Adhikari, posted at the APF Training Center in Pokhara, has been arrested Wednesday on verbal complaint that he called a woman to his residence and raped her, according to Chief of Kaski Police SP Jeevan Kumar Shrestha.

Shrestha said the victim has been sent to the Western Regional Hospital for health checkup. Further details are awaited.
