Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has had health check-up at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center inside the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) premises on Wednesday five days after he returned from Singapore.
"PM has gone to the hospital for normal follow-up after returning from Singapore," a Baluwatar source confided. "He has already returned to Baluwatar and is active in political meetings."
A source close to the PM said antibiotics were prescribed for a few days after plasmapheresis and the antibiotics can make him a little weak.
PM Oli underwent plasmapheresis seven times at the National University Hospital in Singapore.
Plasmapheresis is a term used to refer to a broad range of procedures through which blood components are filtered outside the body. It is likely that the procedure has been done on PM Oli, who had a kidney transplant 12 years ago, to remove antibodies for immunosuppression.
