Sunil Sharma enters race for Nepali Congress general secretary

Amid the ongoing election fever under the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress, Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma has registered his candidacy for the post of general secretary.

On Tuesday, he formally announced his candidacy at Khula Manch, Kathmandu.

The leadership selection process has gained momentum at the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress, which commenced on Sunday.

While announcing his candidacy, Sharma said that his candidacy is aimed at radical transformation within the party, leadership by the younger generation, and institutional strengthening.

He emphasized the need to provide further dynamism to the Nepali Congress.
