Prime Minister Balen Shah arrived in Bidur, Nuwakot, on Thursday to assess the damage caused by the flood in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River and to make search and rescue operations more effective.
PM Shah traveled to Bidur by road.
He is currently receiving a briefing from administrative and security chiefs at the No. 1 Military Training Center in Bidur Municipality.
Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal, Minister for Information and Communications Bikram Timilsina, Chief Minister of Bagmati province Kiran Thapa Magar, and Chief of the Army Staff of Nepal Army Ashok Raj Sigdel are also present.
Nuwakot Chief District Officer Shambhu Prasad Regmi, district police chief Bipin Regmi, and other officials have briefed them on the extent of human and physical losses caused by the disaster.
