Janamat Party to hold second general convention in September

The Janamat Party will hold its second general convention from September 25 to 26.

A secretariat meeting held on Monday decided that local-level conventions should be conducted ahead of the general convention and that their details should be submitted to the party.

According to a statement issued by Anita Kumari Mandal, the party’s national secretary, details of ward and municipal conventions must be submitted to the party by September 6.

The Janamat Party has also decided to grant active membership status to all members who remain registered with the party as of September 16.
