PM Shah calls emergency Cabinet meeting

Prime Minister Balen Shah has called an emergency Cabinet meeting.

According to the prime minister’s secretariat, the Cabinet meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday at 1 p.m.

It is reported that the Cabinet is preparing to make decisions on matters including the deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Cabinet meetings are usually held on Mondays and Fridays.

If a meeting is called on other days, it is commonly referred to as an emergency Cabinet meeting.
