Prem Dangal has been named the CPN-UML party leader in the National Assembly.
According to National Assembly member Ram Kumari Jhakri, parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa appointed his representative in the National Assembly during a parliamentary party meeting held on Thursday morning.
"It is a practice for the parliamentary party leader to appoint a representative in the National Assembly. Today's meeting was called to express gratitude following the election of parliamentary party leader. There, he nominated Prem Dangal as the leader of the party in the National Assembly," she said.
Dangal was elected to the National Assembly from Bagmati province. The CPN-UML has 10 lawmakers in the National Assembly.
