The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has registered the party with the Election Commission for the House of Representatives election.
According to spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, the RPP registered the party at the commission on Tuesday.
“We are clear that an election held under the status quo cannot provide a way out for the country. However, as a responsible and democratic party, it is not desirable for us to remain outside the democratic process. Therefore, our party, the RPP, has been registered with the Election Commission for election purposes,” spokesperson Shrestha said.
The date for the House of Representatives election has been set for March 5, 2026. Applications for party registration must be submitted to the Election Commission by November 26 for the election.
