An indefinite curfew order has been issued in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City inside the Ring Road.
Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kathmandu Chhabi Lal Joshi issued a curfew order for the area within the Kathmandu Metropolitan Ring Road effective from 8:30 Tuesday morning.
The Lalitpur District Administration has also issued a curfew order in some areas of the Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) effective from seven in the morning till midnight.
Areas in LMC where the curfew order has been issued:
Bhaisepati Area (Lalitpur 4, 18, and 25): East: Bhaisepati-Bungamati Road; West: CG Housing and Chobhar Galchhi Road; North: Bishnu Devi Temple below Gayatri Petrol Pump; South: downhill road to Itani.
Sanepa Area (Lalitpur-2): East: Sanepa Chowk to Indrayani Temple paved road; West: Balkhu Bridge to Manmohan Park Bagmati Corridor Road; North: Balkhu Bridge to Sanepa Chowk Ring Road Service Lane; South: paved road from Indrayani Temple to the Bagmati Corridor.
Chyasal Area (Ward No. 9): East: Suspension bridge over the Manohara river corridor; West: Chyasal Stadium; North: Manohara river; South: road to Mal Pokhari.
