The COVID-19 death toll in Nepal crossed 500 on Thursday with 11 more deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
The country reported 1,911 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 79,728. Similarly, 961 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 57,389.
The government has conducted 12,444 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 1,033,947 across the country until now.
Nepal reported 11 more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 509.
