A total of 36 people affected by the flood in the Budhi Gandaki River have been rescued.
The Nepal Army mobilized teams via helicopter and ground routes to carry out the rescue.
Teams deployed with four Nepal Army helicopters rescued six people from Jagat, nine from Nyakphedi, nine from Yaru, and 12 from Payu.
Among those rescued from Yaru were one infant and one foreign national.
The Nepal Army said that further search and rescue operations are ongoing in the flood-affected areas in coordination with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders.
A debris-laden flood occurred in the Budhi Gandaki River on Sunday, causing massive damage.
