The death toll of COVID-19 in Nepal crossed 400 on Saturday with 11 testing positive in the past 24 hours.
The country reported record 1,204 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 62,797. Similarly, 1,447 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 45,267.
The government has conducted 10,333 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 904,706 across the country until now.
Nepal reported 11 more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 401.
