899 test positive, 7 deaths reported Monday

A total of 899 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 39,460. Similarly, 588 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 21,410.

The government has conducted 11,129 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 693,472 across the country until now.

Nepal has reported seven more COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 228.
