Four killed, three missing after landslide in Kalikot

Four persons have been killed and three are missing after a landslide in Tilagufa municipality 1 of Kalikot district Sunday morning.

Paryak Shahi, 40, his seven-year-old daughter Hima, five-year-old son Nirajan, and two-year-old Akkal have been killed after their house was swept away by the landslide in the morning, according to Chief of Kalikot Police DSP Shyam Babu Oliya.

Oliya said their bodies were recovered in the afternoon. Paryak's wife Punya Shahi and one Arjun Hamal have been rescued from under the rubble.

The rescued persons are being treated in Jumla while search is on for the missing three persons.
