Nine COVID-19 deaths reported Saturday, 634 test positive

Nepal reported nine COVID-19 deaths Saturday while 634 persons tested positive in the past 24 hours.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 31,117. Similarly, 124 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 18,338.

The government has conducted over 592,418 PCR tests across the country until now.

The COVID-19 death toll in Nepal has now reached 146.
