638 test positive Tuesday, four deaths reported in past 24 hours

A total number of 638 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 23,948. Similarly, 171 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 16,664.

The government has conducted 10,462 PCR tests in the past 24 hours to take the total number of tests across the country until now 462,698.

A total of four persons have succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the death in Nepal to 83.
