259 test positive Tuesday

A total number of 259 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 21,009. Similarly, 65 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 15,026.

The government has conducted 7,687 PCR tests across the country in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 406,494 until now.

A total of 58 persons have succumbed to the virus until now.
