Week-long curfew in Saptari from Tuesday

The District Administration Office, Saptari has imposed a week-long prohibitory order across the district from Tuesday.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the District Administration Office has imposed the order effective from five Tuesday morning till five next Monday evening. A meeting of the district security committee on Monday has decided to impose the order.

The district has recorded 531 COVID-19 cases until Monday while one person from Rajbiraj municipality has already died of the disease.

Those going outside the house for non-essential works will be punished in accordance to the law, the statement reads.
