COVID-19 death toll crosses 50

The death toll of COVID-19 crossed 50 with two more persons dying on Wednesday. Both of them are from Parsa district.

A 70-year-old man undergoing treatment at National Medical College and a 65-year-old man at Gandak Hospital have died of COVID-19, according to Medical Superintendent of the Narayani Hospital Dr Madan Kumar Upadhyaya.

The result of the man who died at National Wednesday morning arrived late in the afternoon, according to Dr Upadhyaya. The man from Birgunj, with kidney problems, was hospitalized after suffering from diarrhea.

The man, who died at Gandak on Wednesday, had heart conditions. He was admitted at the hospital on July 23 and had later tested positive.

The death toll of COVID-19 in the country has now reached 51.
