A man has died of COVID-19 in Kathmandu.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said Friday that the 85-year-old man residing in New Baneshwore breathed his last on Wednesday. The man was hospitalized with problems of hypertension and Parkinson's.
The man has tested positive after his death. This is the 32nd COVID-19 death in Nepal.
The total number of cases, meanwhile, has increased to 15,259 on Friday with 740 testing positive in the past 24 hours.
A total of 242,247 PCR tests have been done across the country.
The ministry said 9,084 patients are in isolation ward while 6,143 have recovered.
