Total cases cross 8,000 as 426 test positive Friday

Kathmandu, June 19

A whopping 426 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the total number of cases beyond 8,000.

The total number of cases now has risen to 8,274, according to the Health Ministry. A total of 671 persons had tested positive on Thursday.

The ministry said 6,850 patients are in isolation ward while 1,402 have recovered. A total of 22 persons have succumbed to the virus until now
