314 test Monday, total up to 3,762

The country reported 314 new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

Most of the newly infected persons are those being quarantined, according to the Health Ministry. The total number of persons diagnosed with COVID-19 in Nepal has now reached 3,762.

The number of cases has been rising in recent days due to return of a large number of Nepalis from India and expansion in the scope of testing.

Fourteen persons have succumbed to the virus until now while 488 have recovered.
