213 test positive Sunday

Kathmandu, June 7

The country reported 213 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

Most of the newly infected persons are those being quarantined, according to the Health Ministry. The total number of persons diagnosed with COVID-19 in Nepal has now reached 3,448.

The number of cases has been rising in recent days due to return of a large number of Nepalis from India and expansion in the scope of testing.

Thirteen persons have succumbed to the virus until now while 467 have recovered.
