Total infection crossed 3,000 as 323 test positive Saturday

Kathmandu, June 6

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country crossed 3,000 with 323 testing positive on Saturday.

The newly infected persons include 286 men and 37 women, according to the Health Ministry.

The total number of persons diagnosed with COVID-19 in Nepal has now reached 3,235.

The number of cases has been rising in recent days due to return of a large number of Nepalis from India and expansion in the scope of testing.

Thirteen persons have succumbed to the virus until now while 365 have recovered.
