A whopping 114 persons have tested positive on Wednesday as the total number of persons diagnosed with COVID-19 in Nepal has reached 886.
Thirty-five of the new cases are from Rautahat, 17 from Jhapa, 16 from Banke, 15 from Dang, 11 from Saptari, eight from Bara, six from Baglung, three from Eastern Rukum, two from Siraha and one from Makwanpur, according to Spokesperson with the Health Ministry Bikash Devkota.
The majority of infected persons had returned recently form India.
Devkota said the PCR test of 58,277 persons has been done until Wednesday.
The total number of infection in Nepal has now reached 886 while 183 of them have recovered. Four persons have succumbed to the virus until now.
