The total number of infection in Nepal has crossed 400 with 27 persons testing positive for COVID-19 Tuesday.
The infected persons include three in Kathmandu, and one each in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, according to the Health Ministry.
Similarly, nine from Jhapa, four from Kaplivastu and two from Sarlahi, and one each from Morang, Sunsari, Makwanpur, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Lamjung and Nawalparasi have also been infected.
The nine from Jhapa are all from Kachankawal rural municipality. The four from Kapilvastu are also all from Maya Devi rural municipality.
Twenty-four of the 27 persons confirmed Tuesday are male and three women.
The total number of infected persons in Nepal has now reached 402 with two succumbing to the disease while infection has spread to 36 districts.
