The government has decided to extend the nationwide lockdown until May 18.
The Cabinet meeting at Blauwatar Wednesday afternoon has decided to extend the lockdown by 11 days, according to a minister.
The government had imposed nationwide lockdown from March 24 and it has been extended multiple times. The latest was to expire on May 7.
Infection has not increased uncontrollably during the lockdown but it has brought a lot of economic problems to the people.
There were two cases of infection at the start of lockdown and it has now risen to 82 in around six weeks.
