One more person from Bhulke, Udayapur has tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday taking the total number of infected persons in Nepal to 43.
Test at the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu has showed a 55-year-old woman has been infected, according to Chief of the District Public Health Office, Udayapur Dr Mohan Subedi.
He said the woman's husband has already tested positive and is being treated in Biratnagar. She will also be sent to Biratnagar for treatment.
The total number of infected persons in Udayapur has now reached 25 which is more than half of the national total of 43. All 25 persons are from Bhulke.
