The Nepal Army (NA) has started patrolling in Bhirahawa after rise in violation of lockdown.
NA has started patrolling after the federal government ordered strict enforcement of the lockdown.
Chief District Officer (CDO) of Rupandehi Mahadev Pantha told Setopati that patrolling has been increased as shops are opened and people keep coming to the streets without any work. He revealed that NA has been deployed in patrol also as people are still secretly coming from across the border.
The army personnel stop commoners while allowing the vehicles plying for essential services.
