Everyone in A block of Sun City Apartments in Pepsi Cola, Kathmandu including two domestic helps in the infected family there has tested negative in rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) on Wednesday.
Rapid tests done on all 242 persons staying in the block on Wednesday have returned negative result. The team of health workers also collected swab of the two domestic helps for PCR test to confirm whether they are infected or not.
Rapid tests of all the persons staying in Sun City started on Wednesday after two persons who had returned from London on March 18 were confirmed to have been infected on Tuesday.
Rapid tests were first done in the A block as the infected persons live there.
The infected 81-year-old woman and her 58-year-old son are currently in Patan Hospital while the man's wife, who tested positive in rapid but negative in PCR, is also at the hospital awaiting the result of the second PCR test.
