The government on Wednesday has published the list of hospitals for treatment of COVDI-19 across the country.
Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku, Bir Hospital, Patan Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital, Nepal Army Hospital and Ayurved Research Center are the hospitals inside the Kathmandu Valley included in the list released by the Health Ministry.
The ministry has also released the names of hospitals in all seven provinces. The hospitals include Mechi and Udayapur in province 1, Janakpur and Bara in Province 2, Bhaktapur and Sindhuli in Bagmati, Dhaulagiri and Gorkha in Gandaki, Lumbini and Tamghas in Province 5, Surkhet and Dailekh in Karnali, and Seti and Mahakali in Far West.
Treatment is also available in 63 province-level hospitals in the seven provinces. These include 13 district hospitals in Province 1, five in Province 2, 10 in Bagmati, 10 in Gandaki, nine in Province 5, eight in Karnali and eight in Far West.
Medical colleges including BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Birat Medical College, Chitwan Medical College, College of Medical Science, Chitwan, Gandaki Medical College, Janaki Medical College, Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Kathmandu Medical College, KIST Medical College, Dhulikhel Hospital, Lumbini Medical College, Manipal Medical College, National Medical College, Nepalgunj Medical College, Nobel Medical College, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) and Universal Medical College will also provide treatment for COVID-19.
