The Kailali District Administration Office has imposed an indefinite curfew in the district to stop COVID-19 infection.
Chief District Officer (CDO) Yagya Raj Bohara issuing a notice has said the curfew will be imposed from two Monday afternoon until further notice. The administration states that the curfew has been imposed to prevent unnecessary crowd and entry of infection in the district.
It has warned of stringent action against anyone violating the prohibitory orders.
Eateries, medicine stores, groceries will remain open while collection of waste materials electricity service and other essential services will continue to be provided.
