Police have recovered over 30 kilograms of marijuana from an ambulance in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Saturday evening.
A team of Area Police Office Newarpani recovered 30.60 kilograms of marijuana from the ambulance (Ba 2 Jha 1749) in Hetauda-19 at around seven Saturday evening, according to Spokesperson with Makwanpur Police Lalan Kumar Kurmi.
The public ambulance belongs to Dumariya Heatlh Post of Rautahat.
Ambulance driver Mohammad Khalid of Dumariya municipality 9, Ashok Kumar off Dumariya-4 and Binod Sahani of Motihari, Bihar in India have been arrested along with marijuana. Police say they have been trafficking marijuana from Makwanpur in the ambulance.
Police also recovered Rs 91,000 in cash from the ambulance.
