Eight Indian nationals who stayed in a resort in tourist destination of Daman in Makwanpur apparently have died apparently due to suffocation.
The Indian tourists were found unconscious in the rooms of Hotel Everest Panorama at Simbhanjyang in Thaha municipality 4 Tuesday morning.
The eight who were airlifted to Kathmandu have breathed their last at Hams Hospital, according to the police.
Five of them were first airlifted to Kathmandu and they died at the hospital. The chopper had returned to bring the other three. The three were declared dead immediately after arrival.
Four of the eight deceased are children, two men and two women. The details of the dead persons have yet to be known.
They had slept with a gas heater on in a room with the doors and windows closed.
