Two chartered Chinese planes are arriving Wednesday evening to take back the 122 Chinese nationals arrested from different parts of Kathmandu two weeks ago and released after paying a fine of Rs 1,000 each.
A China Eastern plane is arriving from Kunming and a China Southern one from Guangzhou at six and seven in the evening, according to the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
The 122 Chinese, including eight women and 114 men, have been deported and will not be allowed to return to Nepal for the next four years.
They had been released after paying a fine of Rs 1,000 each.
The Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu on Sunday had submitted investigation report to the District Administration Office through the District Attorney Office charging them of improper conduct. Chief District Officer (CDO) Janak Raj Dahal hearing the case ordered the Chinese nationals to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 each.
The Chinese nationals were arrested in coordination with the Chinese security personnel, who had arrived in Kathmandu, for carrying out illegal activities by opening office having arrived here on visit visa.
