10-year-old girl raped while going to school in Gulmi

A 10-year-old girl going to school has been raped in Gulmi.

Bhoj Bahadur Sarki, 41 and a driver by profession, of Ruru Chhetra rural municipality 3 has been arrested on charge of raping the girl on Thursday.

Police say the driver dropped the girl's elder brother, who was accompanying her to the school, from the vehicle, and raped her.

The brother had informed the family after the driver took the girl away. Police say preliminary investigation show the driver gave Rs 30 to the girl to cajole her.
