The Chilime Hydropower Project located in Syafrubesi, Rasuwa, is currently producing 22.1 megawatts of electricity daily.
The Chilime Hydropower Station is situated in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5, where the electricity is being generated.
Bimal Khadka, deputy manager of the project, said that the project is currently operating at full capacity during the rainy season.
"Right now, production is at full capacity. During the dry season, only 50 percent is produced," he said.
The Nepal Electricity Authority holds majority ownership in the Chilime Hydropower Company with 51 percent of the total shares.
Twenty-five percent of the shares are allocated to employees of the company and NEA, 10 percent to locals of the project-affected areas (Rasuwa), and the remaining 14 percent to the public of other districts.
